Does anyone feel like they spend at least 1/2 their life doing loads of laundry?
Well, sometimes I do! And it might be true, one day I found this sweet little note on my pillow...
It made me happy that my efforts to keep up with laundry were being appreciated, but it made me a little sad that my son noticed that I was spending a lot of my time on this task.I started thinking about my precious children and how I don't want them to remember me doing laundry! I want to be playing with my super heros...
going to ball games...
and making my boys chocolate chip cookies:)

Our washer and drier are over 20 years old and on their last legs! They are very noisy, shake a lot, and cannot handle very big loads of laundry. We really need to replace them.

ReplyDeleteI have 3 boys, ages 4, 2 and 8 months and they are messy! I don't really mind doing laundry and it's a good thing because I do a lot of it. I would love to have a super capacity set because then I probably wouldn't have to do quite so many loads = more time available and less money/energy spent in the process .

I live in a house full of boys. 2 children and a husband generate a TON of laundry. I've gone so far as to tell my husband to stop wearing so much clothing! And in the winter all he wears is big bulky sweatshirts. They take up a TON of room in the washing machine and add at least one load of laundry a week.

It seems like it takes forever to do a load of laundry and sometimes I have to rewear things for the simple fact that I do not have enough time to accomplish everything in a day, including laundry. This washer and dryer combo would give me freedom to get more work done, relax a little, and allow me to save money by running everything less.
ReplyDeleteI desperately need a new washing machine. I have a paraplegic, leaky dog that I put down blankets and comforters for. I normally wash 3 to 5 blankets/comforters per day, in addition to regular laundry. My washing machine stopped working a couple of months ago, so now, I'm washing what I can by hand; but the big stuff has to wait for marathon laundry sessions at a friend's house. I need a working washing machine, right now, but super capacity? That would be an awesome bonus!

I can't even tell you how old my washer and dryer are. They were left in a cabin that my Uncle purchased about five years ago and they were so old then that my Uncle gave them to us...poor college kids at the time and we are STILL using them. Problem is, they are starting to make crazy noises and are due to conk out anytime!!! With the amount of laundry that I do every day....it would really stink to be without a washer and dryer!

I need them because my current washer and dryer are from when the house was built 20 years ago. They still run, but I am expecting them to give you any day now.

ReplyDeleteMy daughter needs a good washer and dryer. She has moved in with the man she will marry, and the three of them (he has a child) have to come over to our house for a working washer/dryer. They're welcome, of course, but it would be much better if they could have less that had to be done, when they came over... if they could do the laundry where it was needed.

I could use one because, with 6 of us and 2 dogs, there is a lot of laundry. I have to do a load daily or it gets out of hand very quickly.
